Study sites for the Regional Scale Nodes will be located on the Juan de Fuca tectonic plate off the coasts of Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. High-bandwidth/high-power electro-optical cable will connect instruments and robots at the five main study sites to shore stations on land, and from there to the world via the Internet.
