Ben Fundis

Ben Fundis is a filmmaker currently living in New York's Hudson Valley.  He is the co-director of Border Stories, a video-based documentary website and feature film about the U.S.-Mexico border.  With a three person team, he travelled along the 2000 mile border shooting stories about people with a variety of relationships to the international boundary.  In 2008, the website was nominated in the category of "Best Online Video Presentation" for the Online News Awards and won the "Public Prize" at the Every Human Has Rights Media Awards in Paris. Ben graduated from Bard College, studying Film & Electronic arts. His senior project was a short documentary (Que Mira?) about former street children living on a farm in Nicaragua. In addition to his documentary work, he has worked as an editor on content destined for The Discovery Networks, Animal Planet, and The Food Network.
