Brian Ittig joined the OOI Cabled Array program in July 2008 as the Marine Operations Manager. He has over 18 years of professional experience including eight years in the telecommunications and submarine cable industry. As a Senior Manager, Marine Project Coordination for Tyco Telecommunications, he was responsible for the project engineering and implementation of international fiber-optic cable systems. Brian joined the OOI Cabled Array Program to assist in the development and deployment of a system that will advance ocean sciences and provide new and exciting educational opportunities. In 2014, Brian became the Program Manager.
