Caitlin Russell

Caitlin recently graduated from Boston University with a major in Marine Science and a minor in Earth Science. She participated in leg 4 of the Visions ’13 cruise and used ROPOS footage to create a video detailing deep sea biological adaptations. Her research background is in phytoplankton responses to ocean acidification, but she has a wide range of research interests and is excited to get out to sea and get her hands dirty! When she is not at sea, she enjoys photography, reading, and volunteering with the penguins at the New England Aquarium.
