Caitlin Russell

I am entering my senior year at Boston University (although I am from Mercer Island, Washington), where I am studying Marine Science and Earth Science. I have a diverse and somewhat random research background, ranging from marine genomics to Belizean coral reef population dynamics. I am also very interested in the biology and chemistry of hydrothermal vent systems and cold seeps. I am very excited to participate in VISIONS '13 and I look forward to gaining more research experience and learning how to conduct science at sea.
