I have a Master's in Oceanography and study benthic oxygen flux on the Oregon shelf. I also construct O2 microelectrodes appropriate for in situ measurements of ocean fluxes by eddy correlation method and profiling. I'm currently pursuing more of an educational and public outreach career. I enjoy working with students and inspiring them to appreciate our oceans and marine life. I hope to find a balance between field work, teaching, and environmental protection, all of which I am passionate about.
