Mary Miller

Mary is a science media producer and writer at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. She is also the project director for the Wired Pier project in the museum's Bay Observatory gallery. The Wired Pier is collecting sensor data on the San Francisco Bay's water conditions, ocean acidification, tides and currents, weather and air quality and making the data available to students, scientists and the public. On the cruise, she'll be blogging and doing live programs with audiences at the Exploratorium as well as finding ways to connect and interpret the Regional Scale Node of the Ocean Observatory Initiative to the Exploratorium's Bay Observatory.
