Steady progress continues to be made on the installation of Primary Node 5A. Buoy operations have been completed and the ends of cable segments 5, 6, and 10 are onboard the TE SubCom Dependable for splicing into Primary Node 5A. Upon recovery of the cable ends to the installation vessel, the cables were tested and lengths balanced for deployment of the primary node to the target position at 2850 m water depth. Cable jointing operations for Segment 10 have been completed and are in progress for Segment 6. Jointing operations are scheduled for completion Friday evening and we anticipate deploying Primary Node 5A on Saturday, 11 August.
