Student Participants on the VISIONS '13 Expedition

Students at work deploying the CTD

Learning ocean science and technology through full immersion in a research expedition

Several students participate on each of four legs of the VISIONS '13 expedition.  In addition to writing blogs and working on individual projects, they each take on the valuable role as data logger, standing 4-hour watches with colleagues in the ROPOS Control Room.  Students range from early undergraduates through all-but-dissertation Ph.D. candidates.

Meet the students from Legs 1 & 2, Leg 3, and Leg 4.

Please read the Student Blogs as well!
