Leslie Sautter

Leslie has been teaching marine geology at the College of Charleston for nearly two decades and has a background in paleoceanography. She is director of Project Oceanica (http://oceanica.cofc.edu) and has developed numerous experiential undergraduate oceanographic research programs, as well as teacher education programs in marine science. She joined the UW OOI-RSN team in 2010 during a year-long sabbatical, and participated on ENGLIGHTEN '10 and VISIONS '11 expeditions.  She continues to assist with development of education programming and web resources related to the project.
