Emily Yam

Emily is the Science Interpretation Coordinator at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA.  As a part of the Education Team, Emily teaches school kids, manages grant-funded projects, and facilitates professional development for staff.  She has a Master’s Degree in Marine Science from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Virginia.  In her free time, she enjoys running, camping, paddleboarding, and cartooning.
