OOI Cabled Array Schedule
The OOI Regional Cabled Array cable route survey cruises took place in 2010 when the system was known as the Regional Scale Nodes, cable installation and landings in 2011, and primary node installations in 2012. Installations of secondary infrastructure, moorings, and sensors were completed during the Cabled Array VISIONS'2014 83-day expedition under the leadership of John Delaney. The first Operations and Maintenance cruise occured in July - August 2015 (see VISIONS'15) and the system was commissioned in 2016. Annual Operations and Maintenance cruises ae conducted aboard global class research ships through the University - National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS).
